Chief Systems Engineer-Modeling & Simulation (Active TS/SCI Clearance Required)

As a Chief Systems Engineer, you will contribute to a Systems Engineering team in design, development, implementation, testing and training of/for National Space Test and Training Complex (NSTTC) digital/virtual systems for our warfighters.
This position supports the Space & Airborne Systems (SAS) division, a great team of talented professionals with world class technical expertise who take a collaborative approach to engineering and enjoy working together.

Essential Functions:
Experience with Large Phased Array Radar (LPAR) systemsKnowledge of radar front/back-end HW/SWExtensive experience in Digital Engineering process and MS&AKnowledge of Live Virtual and Constructive EnvironmentsExperience as a Chief Engineer on a large full-lifecycle programExcellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to work harmoniously in a team environment with government customers and other contractorsLead the overall technical aspects of the program in close collaboration with the Government Chief Engineer including being the primary Technical POC to the Government SPO and Integrated Product Office for NSTTC and other collaborative government customers.
Interface both internally with L3Harris leadership and with the customers to shape the Digital Engineering and Modeling Software and Analysis and data transport/fusion across the NSTTC Enterprise.
Lead engineering teams through complex system development and integration of multiple ranges.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or adjacent fields and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
Active TS/SCI Security ClearanceExperience with Large Phased Array Radar (LPAR) systemsKnowledge of radar front/back-end HW/SWExperience in Digital Engineering process and MS&AExperience as a Chief Engineer on a large full-lifecycle programPreferred Additional Skills:
Ability to negotiate solutions among functional groups (Systems Engineering, Mission Engineering, Software Engineering, etc.
)Knowledge of Live Virtual and Constructive EnvironmentsProven analytical and troubleshooting skills demonstrated by related work experienceStrong coordination and organization skills with a focus on detailsOrganized and detail-orientedRational DOORsSysML/MBSEExcellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to work harmoniously in a team environment with government customers and other contractorsIn compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role in Colorado is $106,500.
00 - $197,500.
00 (salary ranges in other locations could differ).
