New teaching/new licensed staff orientation will be held on July 24, 25 and 26, 2018
District 49 credits each year of verified full-time/full-year K-12 teaching experience up to 15 years.
Work Schedule:
182 contracted work days
Interviews are site-based and not conducted by the Human Resources office.

Qualifications and Expectations:
BA/BS from accredited college or university
Valid Colorado teaching license endorsed in area of assignment preferred: K-6 Elementary Education along with #3 OR
a. A valid Colorado teaching license endorsed in another area AND #3
PRAXIS Exam #5001 (or #5018)
CALT ? Certified Academic Language Therapist or Completed LISCP (Literacy Intervention Specialist Certification Program) or equivalent, certification may be "in progress."
Additional Expectations:
This elementary teaching position will be unique in the elementary setting. This Therapist will be teaching the Take Flight intervention to small groups of students in six sessions that rotate through the day. The therapist will teach 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade student groups in 50-minute sessions throughout the day.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
